HAK Rent a car is now available through the popular smartphone app Croatia Traffic Info-HAK on iOS and Android, via a new feature, i.e. an icon visible on the app's main menu screen. The new vehicle rental service, available to members and other drivers, is run by the newly founded subsidiary HAK Rent a car d.o.o. and includes a standard vehicle rental service as well as replacement vehicles.
All smartphone app users can now book the vehicle they want quickly and easily. This also allows the Croatian Auto Club to respond faster when a replacement vehicle is needed following a roadside assistance call-out.
Members of the Croatian Auto Club and associated auto clubs enjoy special member benefits at HAK Rent a car – a 15 percent discount on the basic vehicle rental and all other additional rental-related services, and a 25 percent lower deposit. In addition, members using the smartphone app can authorise the HAK Rent a car service more easily and be located more simply.
HAK Rent a car is pleased with this expansion of cooperation in a segment closely related to the core activities of the Croatian Auto Club, and with adapting its service to the needs of Croatian Auto Club members, which improves it further.
The recognisability of the service within HAK is further boosted by the visual simplicity and recognisability of the locations where the service is offered.
Existing users of the Hrvatski autoklub app need to update the app in the App Store or Google Play to use the new feature.
